Mozziefy Alternatives in Singapore: 5 Window Mesh Options to Compare Before You Buy (2026)
Considering Mozziefy insect or cat screens? Here are 5 window mesh options in Singapore worth comparing first, what each does well, and how to compare quotes.
Mozziefy shows up on a lot of Singapore searches for insect screens, cat mesh and sliding door screens, and for good reason: they sell more formats than most, so whatever you type in, one of their pages tends to answer it. If they are on your shortlist, that is a sensible place to be.
Here is what they publicly offer, going only by their own site. Their window screens come in four formats: magnetic (using PHIFER BetterVue mesh), retractable, sliding (with an insect or pet mesh option) and swing (stainless steel 316 mesh), each with its own warranty listed on the page (3 years magnetic, 1 year retractable, 3 years sliding, 2 years swing, mesh excluded). Their pet-friendly screens page narrows that to three formats for cat homes: retractable with heavy-duty polyester, sliding with a tear-resistant, scratch-proof mesh in several colours, and swing with stainless steel 316, with lock options on each. They also do sliding and retractable door screens, everything is custom-fitted for HDB, condo and landed homes, visits are by appointment, and pricing is per square foot with a minimum per mesh, quoted after they see your windows. Load ratings in kg are not published on those pages.
None of that is a reason not to compare. Having four formats under one roof is handy, and it also means the real decision is which format suits your window, which is worth checking against a few other installers. So here are five other options with what each does well.
Why compare beyond one brand?
A few practical reasons.
- Format is the real choice. A magnetic screen lifts out. A retractable one rolls into a box. A sliding or swing screen stays put on a track or hinge. Each behaves differently on a window you open twice a day versus one you open twice a year. Our retractable insect screens piece explains what the rails and cassette do.
- Cats need a rating, not just a "pet" label. Scratch-proof mesh is one half; the frame's load rating is the other. Our guide to the strongest window mesh explains why 50+ kg is the baseline for cat homes.
- Per-square-foot and per-opening quotes read differently. One looks lower until minimums and GST are added; the other already includes them. Ask for the all-in figure for your list of windows.
- Your windows might not be standard. Existing grilles, moving blinds, louvres and tight recesses rule some systems out. Ask before you pay a deposit.
1. Seiki Screen
Seiki sells retractable screens made and tested in Japan, from a company that has been making them since 1960. Their window range covers vertical retractable (EZ series) and single or double sliding retractable (Monarch), mounted inside the window frame or on its face, with a mesh lock adjustment to tune tightness and a spring adjustment to protect the roller. Their FAQ says the mechanism is tested over 10,000 open-and-close cycles.
Warranty is 1 year on windows and 2 years on doors, and their showroom is in Yishun. If made-in-Japan hardware matters to you, they belong on the shortlist.
2. Magicseal
Magicseal has sold magnetic insect screens in Singapore for decades and is the name most people know for the lift-out format. Their magnetic screens clip into the frame with a Wind Lock system, use PHIFER BetterVue mesh, go up without drilling, and carry a 36-month warranty. For pet homes there is PawSafe, a reinforced version with thicker strands, a tighter weave, a reinforced frame and a lock.
If Mozziefy's magnetic option is the one that caught your eye, Magicseal is the direct comparison. Our Magicseal alternatives piece goes wider.
3. Irusu
Irusu carries one of the wider ranges in Singapore, with models such as Latch, Duo-lock V2, Slide, Sleek, 2-in-1, Trackless and MAXL, each available as insect screening or, on four pet-safe models, with a hard steel mesh. Lock options include a latch with a child-lock add-on, a scroll lock plus allen key lock, and a key lock.
Their showroom at LTC Building B in Macpherson is open Monday to Saturday, which is the easiest way to compare several formats physically in one visit.
4. MeshMates
We do retractable only, and we do it in five models so the frame matches the job: Base (20+ kg, our most affordable, insect mesh in fibreglass or polyester), Sleek (40+ kg, boxless, reinforced stainless steel 316 for tight recesses), Core (50+ kg, our most popular cat mesh, stainless steel 316 or pet mesh), and Pro and Door (both 70+ kg, detachable mesh, 2-in-1 option with a sunshade or blackout layer).
If you were looking at Mozziefy's retractable or pet-friendly range, the like-for-like from us is the Base for insects and the Core or Pro with pet mesh for cats. Every model has a child lock, windows are installed drill-free with tape and silicone, we fit around existing grilles and blinds, and the warranty is 1 year with the first 6 months of service free. We quote per opening from photos, then confirm at a free site visit.
5. Luxus
Luxus sits at the "invisible" end of the market: retractable screens on a slim 3 cm frame in two formats, Veltra Slim with no protruding box and Veltra Pro with a mesh box, in a clear LumaWeave polyester or a tear-resistant stainless steel marketed as pet-proof. Frames come in matte black, grey and white, professional installation is included, the warranty is 1 year, and there are showrooms in Woodlands, Tampines and Ubi.
If the look of the frame is high on your list, they are worth a visit. Our Luxus alternatives piece covers that corner of the market.
How to actually compare quotes
Whichever options you shortlist, compare like for like.
- Same openings. Count the exact windows and doors, and get every quote for that same list.
- Same format and mesh. Do not compare a lift-out magnetic screen against a retractable roller on price alone, and do not compare insect polyester against pet mesh. Ask what each quote includes.
- All-in figure. Per-square-foot rates need minimums and GST added; per-opening quotes already include them. Ask for the total for your list.
- Load rating for your cat. 50+ kg baseline, 70+ kg for active cats, and ask what the number describes.
- Warranty and service. What is covered, for how long, and what happens after.

Frequently asked questions
Which Mozziefy format is closest to a MeshMates frame?
Their retractable format. Ours is retractable only, in five models from the insect-only Base to the 70+ kg Pro and Door, all with a child lock and drill-free on windows. If you were considering their sliding or swing pet screens for a cat, our Core or Pro with pet mesh is the comparison to make on load rating and mesh.
Should I pick magnetic, retractable, sliding or swing?
Retractable suits windows you open daily, since the mesh rolls away and seals along rails when closed. Magnetic suits windows you rarely open and want to lift out for washing. Sliding and swing stay in place and suit doors and large openings. Cat homes should choose on load rating first, then format.
Do any of these publish load ratings?
Some do. BlindNet and Magic Cat Mesh publish figures on their sites, and we publish 20+ to 70+ kg per model. Mozziefy, Seiki, Magicseal, Irusu and Luxus do not state a kg figure on the pages we checked, so ask for one and ask how it was measured before you decide.
